How we started

We started out sharing quick, easy recipe videos and built a community of over half a million people. Many of those recipes were batch-cooked and portioned for the week ahead. When our daughter arrived, we wanted meal prep kit that kept our family's food fresh without plastic, and that would last for years rather than months. That's how Good For You began.

Why glass for meal prep

Our containers are made from borosilicate glass, so one container can go from fridge to freezer to oven to dishwasher (glass base only: lids are best hand washed and removed before microwaving). Glass doesn't stain or hold smells the way plastic does, and it's BPA-free. Let frozen food thaw before it goes in the oven. If a lid or base ever breaks, we sell replacements separately, so you never need to replace the whole set.

Why our food flasks

Our flasks are double-walled stainless steel, made to keep homemade lunches hot until midday. We make a 530ml size for school lunches and a 730ml size for adults.
